AQS-13F Sonar, GPS, FLIR, and CDNU. for integration with tactical navigation,
ASN, search and rescue, and early warning systems. Conducted literature

determine the impact and effectiveness of integrating existing and proposed
software and hardware into the aircraft. Research and analyses included
analyzing integration options, hardware and software interfaces, system

The software programs were designed in accordance with the Software Change Descriptions and Program Performance and Design Specifications. The software was demonstrated on such aircraft trainers as the; 14H9 Tactical Team Trainer, 2F158 Weapon System Trainer, SH-60F Maintenance Trainers, Organizational Maintenance Trainer, and the 2F146 Weapons System Trainer. Enabling the Navy customer to access these support services, without incurring long term expenses for intermittent/cyclic engineering needs, or encountering delays in pulling together a team to address a unique engineering issue, has greatly improved the flexibility and responsiveness of the Mission Software Team. Support to NAVAIR. Designed, coded, tested, and debugged simulation software programs.. The simulation software was designed in accordance with the Software Change Descriptions and Program Performance and Design Specifications. The coding was performed in “C/C++” and “X” Windows. for the Operational Flight Programs (OFPs) and associated software. These
efforts included the design, development, and maintenance of airborne
tactical navigation, ASW, search and rescue, and early warning systems.
Additionally, these efforts included system integrations utilizing the
1553 digital data bus. The software programs were designed in accordance
with the Software Change Descriptions and Program Performance and Design
Specifications. Software coding was performed, primarily, in TDY-43 Assembly
language with a portion performed in 8085 Assembly language. The debugging
was demonstrated on Government accessed HP computer workstations using
NADEP’s emulators, which D3 developed. D3 maintained configuration
management of the developed OFPs using ClearCase software “tool”
which was provided on the Government accessed workstations. |

Provided Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault-Tree Analysis (FTA), and System Safety Assessment (SSA) services to support a variety of reliability, maintainability, and RCM implementation programs. Utilized various software packages to conduct these analyses, including ITEM FMECA Software® and ITEM FMECA ToolKit Software®. AMPS, Inc. has carried out training programs to develop NAVAIR employee
finite element capability at NADEP North Island and NADEP Jacksonville.
These education programs were aimed at educating NAVAIR employees so that
they would be self sufficient with respect to obtaining internal loads for
the purpose of carrying out analyses to support repairs. This ability to address industrial surge capacity requirements, which vary widely on any annual basis, through the use of dedicated AMPS engineering support services, enables NADEPNI to maintain organic core competencies, though a federal service workforce, while meeting emergent Navy-wide and national defense challenges. |
